The body becomes out of balance in an effort to get our attention. The body does not have a voice, instead it talks through symptoms, pain, stress and DIS-ease
Mind Body Medicine helps decode your body’s messages as it shows you how your thinking (which then cause emotions) affects how your body feels.
What to expect in a session?
Initial consultation is 90 minutes + ( please allow 2 hours) this involves a detailed health history, and an action plan. Subsequent sessions are up to 1 hour 15 minutes.
First we will chat get some back ground information around your issue, then I will work on your body (usually holding acupressure points or guided visualisation) to release stress from your body.
You may be given homework to assist you in your healing between sessions. This could be in the form of nutrition, exercise, simple activities like rubbing points on your feet.
It is advisable to wear loose fitting comfortable clothing (pants are recommended for females).
It is usually recommended that you have 4-6 sessions.
