What is Kinesiology?

Holistic Kinesiology is a complementary medicine that assist’s in health and wellbeing.

It looks at all levels of stress within a person (physical, emotional and spiritual) with equal importance, and understands that the body has an intelligence of it’s own.

It also looks at the mind-body connection and how they work simultaneously.

How does it work?

Kinesiology uses counseling & dialogue to help the client understand how their problem came to be in the first instance.  In some cases and with children guided imagery and visualisations may be used.

It then uses gentle muscle monitoring to locate stress held within the body.

Stress can be located in all regions of the body and usually manifests in the form of pain, stagnation, disease or poor health, deep emotions and strong emotional responses, feeling stuck, behavioural issues, lack of energy and so on..

Once the stress and it’s origin (root cause) have been explored, complementary therapies are then used to clear the stress in order to regain health.
